It's a shame you aren't getting any blue ink, and everything is coming out pink. There is an issue with the color cartridges, which I can help solve. First, remove the color cartridges. Look for any leaks and clean the printhead of the cartridges. Next, clean the print rollers within the printer. Try to print a test print page to see if the issue remains. If it does, go to support at www.support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/.

I rarely print anything in color. But I have to change the ink cartridge about every six or so months to even get the printer to print a page in black only. Very expensive printer to operate.

Hi Jack,
The printers are set up to require both black and color ink. The reason for this requirement is many pages need a combination of color and black ink. If you want to only print in black ink, use that option on the printer. You will also find that cleaning the color cartridges weekly prevents them from getting dry. Therefore, you have to replace them less frequently.
