Amazing picture for a great price

Picture is crystal clear and there is no pixel drag like many of the other TVs we looked at. We have windows all over the house and there is no fade to the picture at all.
The only thing... and I mean ONLY thing I hate about this TV is the FlashPlayer is insufficient to watch live sports through ESPN, even logging in through my cable provider. This is the only channel we've tried as it's the 'out of area' sports we can't access through our cable provider. I can watch the games on my Samsung S3, but I can't get the mirror screen option to work. The TV see's my phone, and my phone see's the TV, but I haven't been able to get them to connect. I'll be contacting Samsung tech support for a resolution.
Excellent picture quality and Smart functionality. The last high-end 1080P television on the market. I love how small the bezel is and how thin it is on the wall, with fantastic black levels which is something very thin sets often have difficulties with and cloud. 4:4:4 @ 60hz that is upscaled to native 120hz refresh rate of the television results in beautiful visuals paired with my HTPC. And unlike 4K sets, you can realistically drive games at 1080p and Windows scaling works out great for usage from the couch, whereas 4K makes everything far too tiny and requires you to resort to massive Windows scaling which has its problems. 1080P native footage still looks best on 1080P native panels, as I'm not a fan of upscaling processors at present. Very happy with the set.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, smart tv connectivity and navigation
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love this TV. We were surprised to find a tv this large at what appeared to be a reasonable price. We were replacing an older flat screen that was smaller, and yet cost us more at the time, so it seemed like a real bargain. The picture is incredibly crisp and clear - the apps are really fast loading and just much more pleasing to access than any of our other wifi capable devices. The remote even has a button dedicated to smarthub It's thin, light, easily mounted, and we are just very pleased with this purchase. I'm already scheming to buy another down the road.
After doing much online research between LG and Samsung, i chose Samsung. So far I am very pleased with my choice. I wanted a set that would fit my wall hanger and not be much bigger than my old 42" set. I also wanted a smart tv with most of the bells and whistles at a reasonable cost. The UN50J6300AF fit exactly what I was looking for. I've had the unit for a day and an so awed by the picture and the sharpness compared to my old set. WOW!!!!!. The remote is easy to use and the fact that you can get Samsung remote help is a plus. The set has factory defaults which may not satify everyone. The picture did seem a bit on the bright side but you can change that by going from dynamic to normal. I was very happy to be able to play music and a slideshow that I had on a flash drive. This unit picked up my wireless setting right away and so what you have is another computer. One con I have is the placement to the usb ports . They would have been easier to use if they faced out the back rather than the side. People with big fingers may have a problem. Checked out the apps and my netflix worked but I'm not sure that everything I have via the Roku is available with Samsung. Overall, this a good middle of the road smart tv with all the goodies one could want.
I was looking for a new TV and was planning on getting a 4K TV. Saw this TV and the picture quality on it is amazing! Sound quality was okay for built-in speakers but was much better than most other TV's I looked at. Difference between it and 4K TV's was only slight. I could not justify paying twice the price for a 4K TV. May be due to the fact that very little 4K content is available. Got this TV home and it worked perfectly straight out of the box with the factory settings. I have Xfinity X1 cable hooked up to it and the picture is amazing. I get all my content from Xfinity so I can't really comment on the Smarthub apps. I did try to use the web browser and it worked fine but was a little awkward having to use remote to navigate. If I ever "cut the cord" and go without cable and use only the apps(Netflix, Amazon, Hulu etc.) I would definitely recommend getting the Bluetooth keyboard that is available for easier navigation. The auto update function for the software/firmware also worked flawlessly and updated to the latest version with no problems.
I am unable to operate Netflix with a mouse connected to a usb port. All other smart sites are fine including Web Browser and You tube. I also own a un60js700f which Netflix and all other smart sites work fine.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, added mouse will not operate netflix
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I get tons of compliments on the size and picture quality of this tv. This is the best non 4K tv on the market. It is probably a better picture then some of the year 4K tvs. My only complaint is the sound has been cutting out some. It might be the Samsung refurbished surround sound/bluray player that I'm using. I'll try to write an updated review when I find the problem.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, hd quality, little to no motion blur
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is my second Samsung TV purchase. My first was made about 7 years ago and has had no problems. I've had this tv for less than 4 months and have had nothing but problems. The TV shuts off randomly. The color changes from light to dark. So much that you can't see anything if the show is shot in darker lighting. The remote often only works to shut the tv on and off. The red light flickers. Extremely disappointed in a very expensive tv.
