The Samsung Galaxy Tablet is a great transition device for me. I enjoy the benefits of online access where available without having a smartphone yet. It fills in the gaps for me, it is easy and lite to carry instead of my heavier laptop. My only complaint would be that some video compatible issues for some sources vary. But I am happy.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

If you're looking for a light portable tablet for reading on the go this is the perfect one. As far as media viewing you may want a SDHC because on board flash storage is limited.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: software, stutters, storage, no updates
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Tab 4 for is an excellent upgrade to the Tab 3. The picture is bright with excellent clarity. Easy to use and runs fast.

The non compatibility for Otg cable and a majority of the updated apps can't be played,which is why most of my ratings went down. Also needs to have more frequent updates on the android version and software interface, while other Samsung devices that had been sold very soon after had these compatibility's and the new updates.

Cons: Did not meet expectations
