I have been wanting a tab for about a year. Didn't know one from the other. Got caught up into a
TV ad about The GALAXY, went to Best Buy, checked it out, bought it for myself for Christmas. Fell in luv with it I'm enjoying all the different features it holds ie...u-tube, google chrome, pandora and oodles of brain games just to name some of my favs. GALAXY ROCKS!!! If you are in a quandary about what Tab to buy for children or for yourself, look to the GALAXY!

I love my Samsung Galaxy tab 4, is very fast and has a great display, I had the tab 2 when I was younger and it was great I don't know if it was me because I was 8 or 9 year old at the time but it cep randomly shutting off on my then it got to the Pont were it wouldnt even tern on but they've made a lot of changes to it now, but over all it amazing and I love it, I would give it a 5 out of 5 rating.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

I like the tab 4. Only problem I have found is that there isn't anyway too make u r sd card the default download destination

For some reason this item is not charging. I gave it 2 my daughter for her bday on friday. When it died I put it to charge n went 2 work I came back it was on 10 % only. But it said charging. Ow I have 2 return it

It's a great tablet but it's not my laptop

In all fairness I bought the Galaxy for a specific purpose, high mobility in WiFi areas for simple checking off of an Internet -based form. It should work fine for this. This tablet is a good size as I can comfortably hold it in my left hand while I use a stylus in my right. The display is crisp so even small text is readable. It runs well on a charge with the intermittent use I give it.
It's not nearly as easy to use for heavy work as my laptop. I would still cart my laptop around if I had heavy data entry to do. But, for a simple To do list, or to make a quick note it's handy.
One issue I'm having is that if I am using the tablet in vertical orientation and inadvertently allow it to tip into horizontal orientation , when I reorient the device it outlines areas of the screen in blue rectangles. This is irritating . It happens during data entry. I thought it was perhaps app - related but it has happened across apps, even while I was trying to enter this review.
I've used it once to view a YouTube video and it was fine . I'm not as adept at tablet or smartphone use as many these days. So, perhaps a more experienced user might offer more useful insights.

It is great for kids to use to get them entertained for studying and education for fun.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: if overuse it sometimes get slow
