I love my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0" I use it daily to keep track of appointments, to do lists, stay in touch with contacts and organize tasks. You can get hundreds of apps, including the qr code reader and my favorite, the Medtronic Diabetes app. I couldn't ask for more.
I really enjoy my tablet. I mainly use it to watch videos and check email. I use it instead of my phone because it is so much easier to see.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def
I would recommend this to a friend!

This thing is the bomb. you can stream movies and play games with ease. This being my 3rd Samsung product, you can tell its quality! If your in the market for a tablet, go with this one. You cant go wrong
Unwanted Galaxy pre-loaded apps are hard to remove, many---- one can only disable (but not remove) . One large "space hog" app just spontaneously downloaded and I could not stop it. I want control of my electronics and such apps are nothing more than forced spam. For this reason- I recommend paying the extra cost for an Apple-I pad. Takes weeks of use to figure out how to make the Galaxy tablet free of unwanted apps and their displays.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the familiarity of the Samsung UI. The 7", thin size are perfect for my needs. Positives are that the display is good for reading and streaming videos. After adjusting a couple of developer settings (search You Tube for ways to speed up the processing on this tablet), it's pretty quick, not gamer quick, but quick enough for web browsing. The biggest drawback is that onboard memory is only 8 gigabytes, 3.3 gb of which is taken up by the system. That leaves little room for Google books, for instance. Good news is that there is an sd slot for additional storage, keeping in mind that not all apps (again, Google Play Books is an example) transfer to the sd card. Downloading even one movie proved to be pretty much impossible. I expected better battery life. I had hoped by only turning on WiFi when needed, it would have been better. I charge it each evening at which point it's anywhere between 20% and 40% (I read a lot). All in all, this tablet is good of a kind and by minimizing the number of apps, and designating this as a reader only (with a few news apps), it suits my purpose. A thin, lightweight 7" tablet is getting harder to find, I think because they are so close in size to some mega phones. But size is where the similarity ends. Too bad. With a few tweaks, this tablet can go from good to excellent, and I wouldn't have needed to compromise so much. I do believe there is a more sizable market for this than Samsung and other manufacturers may realize.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, great ui, thin and compact. easy to stow in a purse.
