I own a number of Samsung products and have always been pleased with the reliability, price, and performance that Samsung delivers - I bought the Tab 4 because I trust the Samsung brand to provide a reliable product. Pros - the Tab 4 screen is nice, the colors are good and it's sharp enough to read pretty small print. This is my first Android device but the interface was pretty intuitive. Wireless reception is good, speaker is minimalist but ear buds work fine. Memory seems to be managed well. Cons -The micro-SD card slot was kind of sloppy and I had some difficulty getting the card to seat properly. After trying it out for a few weeks, it doesn't offer any of interaction with my TV - there is no HDMI output and it doesn't work with my streaming TV device. The micro-USB is a charging port only. There were other tablets out there that offered more entertainment options, more versatile ports, and a lower price point. I think I should have looked at some of those a little more closely, but was focused on getting an email/browser device so I could leave the laptop at home when I traveled.
Cons: limited capability to provide video to big screens, no usb port, sd card slot sloppy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a Nexus 7 & a Nexus 7 (2nd generation/release) and I like them very much, BUT...The graphics and the Expandable storage with Samsung is AWESOME !, can't keep this unit away from our very bright 6 year old grandson, and we have a 2 year old grandson, that is also bright, and he is very tech savvy too..quite fun to watch them...anyways the ease of use, is very nice, the sound is good, everything about this is GREAT, we also have the Tab2 10.1 " and the S4 phone, and the Avant phone for those who want an in-expensive yet nice smart phone, and the Tab4 7" tablet is BEAUTIFUL in design and carrying it around, the apps fit so well in this one, better than the 8" and I have arthritis in my hands so this tab is great for that, and its smaller and a tad lighter than my Nexus 7
Very difficult to register product, model number not listed on drop down menu. Had to use desktop PC to register product. Product was a gift, and there is no option on the registration menu for "GIFT" or I couldn't find it.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, goes to sleep too quickly by default
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like this product very much ,sound quality is awesome but it is something low compared to Kindle fire hd .Overall product is good and can used for book reading and playing games.
First off this is the 1st tablet that I have owned. I have a labtop and a home computer with a touch screen. Both of these products did NOT prepare me for how to use a tablet. When I recieved my tablet there were no instructions to help with how to use (there is a tutorial that helped), however I like to have something in my hands to looke at and access as I am learning. So this was new to me. But once I seen how easy the functions were to use and it in a way is a self teaching apparatus. The more I used it the more it showed me and I am extremely happy and satisfied with this product.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to use, great pictures, great video
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simple, but Effective Tech

I am a low tech kind of guy that works/plays hard. I have no time or use for tech products that do not work properly or with ease. Because I often drop things and have large hands, little buttons and delicate controls are not an option. Several times, I have inadvertently turned on my tablet by simply picking it up. That is because the on/off button is too exposed on the edge right where one would grab naturally grab the tablet. I will learn to grab it differently. However, that is the only negative comment I can make about this product. It is a great tool, easy to use, and if it lasts as long as my other Samsung products, I will indeed get my money's worth!
