nice tablet at a great value

The Samsung Galaxy 4 tablet has been a nice edition to the tech world in my household. The picture is crystal clear and the sound is actually very good. I bought a 32 go micro card and really enhanced the memory. I highly recommend adding this feature to the tablet. The camera is good not great but good.The speed and functon of the tablet is impressive. The only exception I have with this tablet and Samsung in general is that android lolipop 5.0 has been out and updated on my Google Nexus but is nowhere to be found on my Galaxy. Samsung if you want the fifth star in this review you need to do a much better job updating the OS.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: no update for android lolipop 5.0

Being new to Android devices, I didn't know which brand of tablet to purchase. I made the mistake of buying a cheaper brand for my first Android tablet and I was really disappointed in the quality and operation of the tablet. It was really bad about hanging up/stopping during downloading and playing files. I took it back and then purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 7" with 8GB of memory. The S4 is very quick on downloading files, has a great touch screen with outstanding resolution, and was easy for me (a rookie in Android OS) to learn the basics of configuring the tablet for my use. I'm slowly learning the OS and I'm really pleased with the Galaxy S4. I installed a 32GB card in the unit and it looks like that will be plenty of storage for pictures and other files I might want to load to the tablet.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, great quality

Everything works great except for the very small speakers. Definitely need external speakers or headphones.

Very upset. Does not accept a SIM card. Very little use. Was a gift from company I work for (35 years). Can not be returned.
