Great until is Stopped Cooling!

Bought this two weeks ago. Had kitchen remodeled and needed counter depth fridge. Found this one. Plugged in for 2 weeks, and then found water leaking. Then realized the fridge (top and bottom) is no longer cooling, even though the computer panel is set correctly. The panel is working and you can hear the machine running, but it is no longer cold. All my frozen food was defrosted, and the items in the top fridge was warm! Don't know if I picked the right fridge. Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this fridge for just over a year. It has broken twice. Not impressed. It's beautiful and looks great in the kitchen but has been nothing but problems for us. Read reviews on other sites before buying, it common to have problems just after the warranty expires.
Pros: Style/Design

Countertop Depth is Awesome

This unit has great design features, the Custom Chill drawer is a wonderful. The snack & cheese area is also a very useful feature. Like the fact is has a dairy area in the door. Ice and water area design is very innovative.
The only thing I struggle with is fitting everything in the vegetable bins. Especially longer cucumbers, lettuce, etc...Would have preferred two larger bins.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Features/Settings

Great Features for the Price

I bought this refrigerator over a competitor's version for the following reasons: This model is counter depth built, the ice maker is completely housed in the door & not taking up space in the refrigerator, the water and ice dispensers are activated by separate mechanisms so you don't have to remember to press a button to select which to use.(Although this cuts down on the amount of ice it can store, its enough for people that do not need ice several times a day like us.) The only areas I would suggest LG consider improving is make the levers that activate the water and ice out of a material that less likely to scratch and do away with the middle drawer in the freezer as there is not that many small items that fit into its space. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance

Ice maker problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator as I had owned one previously in my last home. After 8 months, the ice maker has broken already. Serviceman will be here tomorrow. Had been warned that this has been a history with this model, but I insisted as I like the LG brand. I just hope that this isn't the beginning of the repair, then repair the repair, then repair again, and then OOPS, your warranty is expired. I am very disappointed and wish now I had listened to my husband.

Absolute GARBAGE

Do NOT. I repeat DO NO buy a LG refrigerator. They suck! I have owned this refrigerator since 2015 and within the past year I have had more issues than a little. The condenser builds ice often and as a result, you will have to defrost your refrigerator to avoid the compressor completely dying on you like it did on me. And thats when the real problems begin. During the pandemic, I had 5 technician visits in and out of my house to try and fix this garbage. I have had the compressor replaced, the fan assembly replaced and even the control (mother) board replaced. And it still does not work! And get this! Three out of 5 of those visits were LG certified technicians. Every last one of them told me LG refrigerators are GARBAGE. One guy said 90% of his work is LG. I asked them all which brands did they recommend and none of them recommended LG. DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR! I want to save you some headache. It's not worth it. Not all things that sparkle are gold. I know this fridge looks fancy and nice, but its trash.

Best refridgerator

We have had many refridgerators over the last 43 years, this is the best my wife and I have ever owned. It is spacious and very quiet. The Ice maker appears small but in reality it is very efficient and meets our needs. Bottom line is, my wife loves it and that gives it a 5 in my book. Trust me when I say my wife is very hard to please but this LG unit pleased her at the get go.

Beautiful Refrigerator -

This refrigerator is a dream. It is extremely quite, very well designed - I can see everything at a glance. The 4th drawer works great for frequently used item, ( the grand kids love it) The doors accommodate all your seasonings, sauces and wine bottles with ease. Just an all around treat to use.
