I bought my dish washer yesterday.Installed today and noticed a bunch of scratches on the front.How is that possible took it out of the box and boom scratched up.

Not quite the experience that I was expecting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is quiet and so far seems to wash the dishes well, but it is not quite as easy to load as we thought it would be. The bin for the silverware does not have a snug spot to fit it and it can tip over easily when we put it where the instructions show it should be placed in the bottom rack. We thought we would be able to fit more dishes since it advertised more place settings than other dishwashers and it didn't have the middle taken up by the water for the top rack. But our experience has been that it has been harder for us to efficiently use the space because of unusual layout of dish supports and that many of them are too short to really hold the dishes in place. Also with the water for the upper rack spinning around and hanging down below the upper rack we can not put dishes as tall as we were expecting to be able to load in the bottom rack. Also the door release mechanism is harder to user than we thought it would be when the dishwasher is installed under the counter. The design depends on there being more space above the top of the door below the counter than we have in out situation for it to be easily unlocked and opened. For us it feels a bit awkward. We thought we were getting a better dishwasher than the one we had before, but overall we would have preferred the one we had before even though this one is much quieter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Less quality than expected

This came brand new in the home we bought that had been renovated. It had never been used before and all of the documents and samples were still inside. The plastic covers and tape had to be removed. We have since had problems with the door leaking if there is a cookie sheet in the bottom rack in the left side. It leaks EVERY time it is arranged this way. My husband replaced the door seal, even though it was only 2 years old. It still leaked. I now Know put the cookie sheet in the back, but the fact that the door seal is that poor was disappointing. Also, the latch isn't great. I have to push and lift up to get the door to latch. Not a huge deal, but it has been that way since it was brand new, just poor quality. About every 7-8 times I run the dishwasher, the soap door won't open, and I have to run it again after I open and then close the soap compartment. About 3 months ago it started acting strange. It randomly would stop in the middle of a cycle. All the lights would flash, I thought nothing of it. It began to happen more frequently, after 20 minutes it would just shut-off and not drain. I would have to open it and restart it. Then it just stopped in the middle of a cycle and will do nothing now. No lights come on. It is completely dead. My husband checked the power at the box all the way through to the motherboard of the dishwasher and it seems the mother board is fried. Less than 3 years old and it quit with water in it and won't drain. Overall, I am surprised at what a poor quality product it turned out to be. The little things could be ignored if it was a solid product that worked for over a decade; but with use that was less than every day it lasted only 2.5 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great basic dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit for my Mom's condo. Great basic unit, installation was straightforward, no complications. Unit is VERY quiet in operation, Mom was pleased. The old unit sounded like a jet engine taking off. When this runs, you have to deliberately listen for it, or perhaps catch some faint noise as it switched cycles. controls are easy to use, which is important for a senior.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does exactly what I need!

Quieter than I expected. No extra options that I do not use. Love it. The silverware basket is short. Top shelf I cannot use for all my different beer glasses because it's not high enough. Should of brought some of my glasses to store to test, I can live with it because it works great!

Simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this just over a month ago to replace a dishwasher. Didn't want to spend a lot and wanted a dishwasher with simple features and easy to use. This dishwasher so far has done everything I expected of it. The only issue I have is the bottom pull out for dish placement does not stay on track and you have to physically guide the shelf back in. Not a big deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We built our home a little over a year ago and purchased the Frigidaire appliance package. Within that first year the dishwasher was serviced several times. We purchased the extended warranty.

What's good and what's not

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with the cleaning and the design of the racks that give you many ways to load the dishwasher. I am unhappy with the way the rack goes back in the housing. There is, what I would call, a speed bum which hinders a smooth entry back into the housing. Also the latch to open the dishwasher is very thin and hard to unlatch.
