When the plumber installed the unit he told us to expect great results and after the first wash every thing came out clean and shining with no greasy feeling!

Tricky Use

Maybe it's just me but I've never heard of a dishwasher that couldn't clean or dry dishes without a rinse aid. For weeks I thought something was wrong with the dishwasher and was even ready to get a repairman to come out. I called Frigidaire and the rep told me I need to use a rinse aid. It solved the problem but...really? Seems weird to me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Kdmcam, I certainly feel your confusion. Page 11 of the Owner’s Manual for your model states; “Rinse aid greatly improves drying, reduces water spots, filming, and lubricates wash arm bearing for proper rotation. With it water “sheets” off dishes rather than forming water droplets that cling and leave spots.” I am glad to hear that your concerns were resolved, and your dishwasher’s performance is satisfactory. No noise decibles to worry about!

I almost bought a more expensive, other manufacturer, model because the sales person was trying to tell me that 50 decibles or more is too noisey. Anyhow, this model was rated louder but the price was very good so I bought it thinking no one sits next to their dishwasher and listens to it. Guess what? This one is so quiet I think the rating was mistaken. It works wonderfully and I have no complaints, save your money this was a good buy.

Found the controls are perfectly designed and easy to understand and use.Also the dish washer was very easy to install and the upper spray arm is fantastic cleans great.All the products being made in the USA and are of good design and durability.

Dishes aren't clean after wash

I've had this dishwasher for several years in my rental property. I knew when I used it the dishes did not come out clean and finally one of the tenants complained as well. I've found the only way they clean completely is if you have it set on hi-temp wash. I've checked my hot water heater and it's set above 120 degrees. I also get the dual blinking lights on hi-heat and heat dry but cannot find out why they are blinking at all. I would probably recommend a better product.

I hate to hear about your dishwasher experience, 933Carol. I recommend making sure that the spray arms are attached and free to rotate. Are the dishes cloudy or filmy, or is there food left on the dishware? Can you hear water noise during operation? Also, it could be that the dishwasher had a power failure if the high-heat and heat dry lights were flashing. This could possibly resolved by resetting your dishwasher from the main circuit breaker in your home. I hope this helps! Please feel free to contact us directly should you have any other questions.
