Not happy with drying feature and rack for spoons, forks and knives, but falls. Rack does not hold dishes up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Uh oh, sassie. I hate to hear you are having trouble with your dishwasher. To improve drying performance, make sure you are using plenty of rinse aid, your hot water heater is set to at least 120 degrees, you are running the hot water in a nearby sink prior to starting the dishwasher, and you are loading the dishwasher per the instructions in the manual. Loading the dishwasher by the instructions in the manual should also help with the rack not holding the dishes up. Please make sure you are putting the utensil basket in the rack as displayed in the manual so it does not fall down. If you need additional assistance, feel free to contact us directly. ~ Brandi

Bought this unit to replace a Frigidaire dishwasher(more expensive model) that developed a leak after 5 years. Mechanically it appears to be the same with cheaper racks and less insulation. The racks fit poorly and bound up when moving the racks in or out. The silverware rack did not fit anywhere snugly, it would tip over part way and allow the utensils to hit the dishes. Fortunately I had saved the upper and lower racks from our old unit and they fit and move perfectly. I also added the insulation from the older model, but it still is a little noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this Frigidaire Dishwasher about one month ago. I brought the unit home and installed it myself. I install and service medical grade washer/disinfectors for a living. The water solenoid valve leaked where the coil goes over the piston stem. You cannot take the washer back to the store it was purchased from. You must call the number for service provided with the paperwork in the owners packet. This phone number is either Frigidaire or a company contracted by them to do warranty repair service. When a service appointment is made, the customer has to be available between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. My wife and I both work full time. So one of us has to take a day off from work to have a one-day old dishwasher repaired. I bought the replacement solenoid and replaced it myself. No leaks now. In addition, the dry function is probably about 75% efficient, which is not a service issue but a design deficiency. 1/3 of the load has to be dried manually before placing in the cupboards. I will be purchasing a replacement dishwasher this weekend and installing this Frigidaire in my daughters house, to replace the defective Frigidaire currently installed in her home. You decide for yourself if want to go through the same experience.
