Kimark, I am dismayed to hear of your dissatisfaction in your new dishwasher purchase. Getting used to a new appliance can be frustrating. The door not staying down is an installation matter, it sounds like the door springs may have been installed too tight and need adjusting. Please contact your installer for assistance with this matter. Page 9 in your Owner’s Manual has some tips for the silverware basket that may help with the awkwardness. Love the food disposer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this specifically for the food disposer. There are times I get lazy and put dishes in the dishwasher without rinsing them. My husband was impressed when a spoon, with hardened cheese sauce on it, came out perfectly clean. Will keep buying Frigidaire.

Performs well for daily dishwashing, dishes are always clean at end of cycle. I do wish it had a few more features like a food grinder, and more choices/user input variables like rinse only.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My previous one was 14 years old and I had contemplated having it repaired. I'm so glad I didn't go that route. After washing my dishes by hand for a few weeks, I was thrilled to get my new dishwasher! Great decision.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] unit will not dry dishes even with rinse aid, tech came out and said he had to order parts... this is a new construction home and unit was used 3 times before having to call for service.
