[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does not operate the way the majority of dishwashers run nor does it follow the instruction book. According to the instructions your close the door and choose the settings and then push start. However, on this machine you choose settings and then push start and then close the door immediately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap and quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Haven't had any issues out of it. Doesn't dry very well at all, but suppose that's part of the energy efficiency part. Surprised by how quiet it is!

Hello, griffgj! I am glad you are enjoying your new dishwasher. To improve drying performance, please make sure you are using plenty of rinse aid, your hot water temperature is set to at least 120 degrees, and you are loading the dishwasher per the instructions in the Owner's Manual. ~ Brandi

Yikes! Bixler, I am dismayed to hear of your dissatisfaction with your dishwasher purchase. I have some tips that may turn it around for you. Some cleaning and drying challenges can be related to water temperature. Please ensure your water heater is set at 120°F for the best cleaning and drying results. Please run the water in the sink before starting a cycle (like you would in the shower before you get in). Always use rinse aid (it helps the water to sheet off), you can also try increase the amount that is dispensed, if you are already using the aid. Page 11 in your Owner’s Manual has more information on rinse aid, and instructions on how to increase the amount dispensed. Home water pressure should be between 20 to 120 pounds psi for proper dishwasher operation (well systems and reverse osmosis systems may negatively impact water pressure). You will find more trouble shooting information on page 13 in your Owner’s Manual. Cleans well

This dishwasher was installed in our new home (we didn't pick it out). It looks nice, cleans dishes well, and is quiet well running.
The cons are: the handle is tiny and hard to grab to open the dishwasher, and the silverware rack leans over when it's full.

This dishwasher came with our new home as part of the newly remodeled kitchen featuring all new appliances (all frigidaire). Two years later, the dishwasher got louder, didn't dry the dishes, got stuck between cycles, needed to be restarted several times, and just stopped working. I understand why the previous owner purchased as they were not concerned with the product lasting. I just hope that the refrigerator and electric oven last longer than the dishwasher!
