Stops working

I have had to get repaired three times in less than a year of having thsi dishwasher. Now it runs continously for 3 hours.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great products - just hate that it does not have the vent drying feature - you have to leave the door open just a bit in order for it not to smell moldy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher came with the house I bought and I hate it. It doesn’t clean my dishes well and it also doesn’t dry the dishes at all.

I recommend making sure that the house water is coming in at 120 degrees, the “Heat Dry” option is selected, you’re using the correct amount of Rinse Aid, and that the filter is clean. Easy to use.

I have had this product for over a month now and I used it 2 times before it started giving me problems. It shuts off during loads and it won't turn back on for a day or two. I check it every morning to see if I'm going to be able to use it today.

It’s okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this almost a year ago. Already replaced the door latch. It doesn’t feel right when you push in the top rack. Noticed last week that the rack is starting to rust. It always leaves a film at the bottom of the door after a cycle. It looks like residue from the pods we use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Second product I’ve bought and doesn’t last

I bought both a fridge and dishwasher in 2018. The fridge wouldn’t hold temp, and had to be swapped out. Same thing with the replacement (FFTR1821TB). After having it serviced I swapped it out. The dishwasher (FFBD2406NB) would periodically malfunction and not dry. Now it won’t dry or drain. It has only been 2 years!!

This Frigidaire came wit the new house we moved into along with other new appliances.
Interesting features: you have to run the hot water until it is warm before running the unit (This was a first for us. Previous other brand units never required this)
Also, the unit would intermittently would stop in the middle of a cycle. Never at the same spot. Finally were able to replace the control unit electronics. Has not failed us since.
User interface is simple and straightforward.
I would give the unit a higher score if it did not require to run the water until hot before starting the unit. An extra step that is in my opinion counter intuitive to the use of the unit
