Looks great! Works great!

Bought dishwasher a couple of months ago and we are happy with it so far. Have always bought frigidaire products and they work for us but in this day and age with the disposable type of society we hope we get a lot of use/time out of this dishwasher.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this dish washer about a month ago and am very pleased with it; it's very quiet, not sure it's running some times and is a beautiful addition to our kitchen. This dish washer holds about a 2 day's supply of dishes for our family, very economical.

More or less does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is much louder than my old one and my dishes consistently come out wet. The silverware basket retains water to the degree that you need to put a towel down on the counter before you can unload your silverware drawer.

Har826, thank you for sharing your dishwasher experience with us. There are many conditions that can impact cleaning and drying, the most common being temperature. The “sweet” spot for water temperature is between 120-130 degrees for the best cleaning and drying potential. If you are uncertain if your water is the appropriate heat, check your water heater's temperature reading. To help get the hottest water to your dishwasher, try letting water run in your sink until it’s hot (like you do before getting in the shower). This "primes the pump", it gets hotter water to your dishwasher faster. Your dishwasher uses about 3-4 gallons per cycle, limiting the opportunity the water has to warm up if it doesn’t start off hot enough. Don’t forget to use rinse aid. Check to make sure the rinse aid dispenser is full. The dispenser window may show a dot to indicate its level, or it may function like a fuel gauge. If the dispenser is low, remove the cap and fill the reservoir (page 11 in your Owner’s Manual). Be sure to clean the filter regularly (page 12 in your Owner’s Manual). Selecting the heat dry option in combination with rinse aid will enhance drying performance. Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth

New Dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New Dishwasher!
We recently moved into a home with this unit installed. After 1 month of use, we are very happy. It is quiet, efficient and I can fit a ton of dirty dishes inside. We have not used any of the additional features yet, delay wash or top rack wash only, but it’s good to know we have options. It almost works too well, after a wash we need to prop the door open so we get 100% dry. This is common with many of the units I’ve had in the past and would not keep us from recommending this to friends.
Good luck and happy washing

"works as designed"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought on memorial day, it's never fully dried the dishes while on HEAT & infact leaves grime all over them, even while completely prewashing them & heating the water at the sink prior. Technician came out & repeatedly told me the dishwasher "functions as designed". After 30 minutes of side speak, he finally said, what did I expect when I bought a cheap dishwasher. Obviously, clean dry dishes is too much.

I am so sorry to hear about your dishwasher experience, dissatisfiedinGA. I may have some things that could help. Don’t forget to use rinse aid, it really makes a difference. Selecting the heat dry option in combination with rinse aid will enhance drying performance. ). Water pressure is a factor that can’t be overlooked either, the hot water line to the dishwasher must provide between 20 and 120 psi. Are you on a well system? Cut-off and cut-on pressures at the water pump may be too low. Turn up the cut-off and cut-on pressure on the water pump system as needed. Best dishwasher!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this dishwasher for a few months now & love it! I love how it has multiple water sprayers which leaves even pots & pans clean! I thought the "delayed" start option was odd and thought I'd never use it but boy I was wrong! After dinner I put in all the dishes, set the delayed start option, which gives me a chance of still adding dishes before bed. I had a bad habit of forgetting to turn on the dishwasher begore bed since I used to wait till bedtime to start the washer. The delayed option is a life saver! I know my dished will be clean by morning!

Not so great!

Bought this a couple months ago to replace a Frigidaire that was awesome. Loved the old dishwasher. Used it everyday, never added rinse aid, and dishes were clean and dry. This one had all the features of the replaced unit so I was excited to find a comparable dishwasher. Sadly this one isn't so great. Since I purchased this it hasn't dried the dishes. I again just got done drying the WHOLE load of dishes. NOTHING was dry. Did not even dry the vertical plates, and the utensils are dripping wet, not to mention the cups - inside and out. And yes, it has rinse aid in it and it has never dried dishes. Does an o.k. job washing, but sometimes have to hand wash a few dishes after the load is done. The water doesn't heat and it does not remove all the grime, but it does run quietly. Surely miss my old Frigidaire!!

LizaB, I regret that you are having a less than stellar experience with your new dishwasher. I would really love to help bring you back home to us and turn your disappointment into a welcome experience. I have a list of “best practices” for optimum cleaning and drying performance. There are many conditions that can impact cleaning and drying, the most common being temperature. The “sweet” spot for water temperature is between 120-130 degrees for the best cleaning and drying potential. If you are uncertain if your water is the appropriate heat, check your water heater's temperature reading. To help get the hottest water to your dishwasher, always let the water run in your sink until it’s hot (like you do before getting in the shower). This "primes the pump", it gets hotter water to your dishwasher faster. Hot water is necessary to activate dishwasher detergent and melt fatty food soils. An automatic sensor will check the incoming water temperature and, if it is not hot enough, the cycle will be lengthened for automatic water heating in the main wash and final rinse of all cycles. This happens even when the hi-temp wash option has not been selected. When hi-temp wash option is selected, an even higher temperature will be reached to handle heavier soil loads. Your dishwasher uses about 3-4 gallons per cycle, limiting the opportunity the water has to warm up if it doesn’t start off hot enough. Don’t forget to use rinse aid, it really makes a difference. In areas with hard water (like Pennsylvania) you will need to increase the amount dispensed (page 11 in your Owner’s Manual). Be sure to clean the filter regularly (page 12 in your Owner’s Manual). Selecting the heat dry option in combination with rinse aid will enhance drying performance. Is the heater (inside on the bottom of the dishwasher) covered by a heavy mineral or calcium scale (looks like white spots on the heater)? If it is, start a cycle with no dishes in it. Once it has finished the initial fill, add 1 cup of white vinegar to the bottom and let it finish the cycle. Should you have any questions, please reconnect with us directly by calling our Customer Engagement Center at 877-435-3287 for assistance. The hours for the Customer Engagement Center are 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday 9am to 6pm EST. Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth

UNHAPPY AND DISSATISFIED
on January 3, 2017

I purchased a dishwasher recently after remodeling my kitchen. After I used the dry cycle I found my dishes were not dry. I put in a service call and learned that my dishwasher doesn't have a venting system and even though I have a dry cycle it would not dry dishes completely. In order to make sure the dishes are dry you have to open the door and leave it for 30 minutes or so. I would like to know why this is not made public to the consumer because I would never purchase a dishwasher that could not do the basic such as clean and dry dishes. I really want to hear back from you all on this matter. I have been a loyal customer to you all in the past because I never had a problem with my products. I am so disappointed with this matter.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Unhappy_Disappointed. I recommend making sure that the inlet water is coming in at 120 degrees by running the nearest sink water for 1-3 minutes before starting the wash cycle. You may also find that using rinse aid with the heat dry option may enhance drying performance. I hope this information is helpful. Should you need additional assistance, please feel free to contact us at (888) 203-1389; Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm and Saturday from 9am to 6pm EST. Thank you, Courtney
