serves a purpose

Purchased less than a year ago. Only used two or 3 times a week and it does a good job, is quiet and looks nice. However, the computer failed at about 10 months and will be repaired next week.. It has taken a bit longer that I anticipated for repair, part had to be ordered and appliance repair company is heavily booked. Rather good product but not a 5 star.
I would recommend this to a friend!

not all that good

it cleans the dishes ok, and it is not all that loud, but it never dries the dishes especially the glasses. I always have to hand dry before putting the dishes away. It's really annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I recommend making sure that the house water is coming in at 120 degrees, the “Heat Dry” option is selected, you’re using the correct amount of Rinse Aid, and that no heavy mineral or calcium scale is covering the heater. Got a Lemon!

I know there are a number of people who are very pleased with their dishwasher but sorry to say I am not one of them. :( Have already returned mine and got a different brand that I am very satisfied with. Don't know what happened but I guess I got hold of a lemon .. from day one did not clean my dishes and left my clear glasses with a brownish tinge color to them .. one glass even looked like it had rust in it. I tried different type dishwasher detergent to no avail. After the 3rd or 4th try decided to get in touch with the store where I bought it .. was able to return and order new one without any problem. All the best to those who are happy with theirs ...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad quality control from the fabtory

When the plumbers got it installed it wouldn't work. It would turn on, but the solenoid that turns the water on wouldn't work. So, all of the lights blinked. they tried everything they could think of to solve the problem but couldn't. So. I had to call to get someone out to fix it.
After telling them what was wrong, and what the plumbers had checkd, they said it was probabley the computer board that needed to be replaced. But when he got here to do that, he found that the red and black wires were backwards on their connectors.
This kind of thing should never happen. It was all very agrivating, not only when the plumber were going beyond their normal installation, but to find it it was such a trivial thing they didn't catch at the factory is uncalled for.
So far, after three weeks, it still working fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pleasant and Trouble free

Good dishwasher for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a little over a month ago. It's a great value. It's super quiet. I don't think it cleans quite as well as my old one it replaced, but it does a decent job. Door seals well, but it's usually a little damp still inside...smells a bit.

Klgas, welcome to the Frigidaire family! I have some suggestions for your cleaning challenge with the dishwasher. The “sweet” spot for water temperature is between 120-125 degrees (at the water heater) for the best cleaning and drying potential. Ensure you run the water in the sink until it is hot (like you do before getting in the shower). Don’t forget to use rinse aid, and clean the filters regularly (page 12 in your Owner’s Manual). Finally, is the heater (inside on the bottom of the dishwasher) covered by a heavy mineral or calcium scale (looks like white spots on the heater)? If it is, start a cycle with no dishes in it. Once it has finished the initial fill, add 1 cup of white vinegar to the bottom and let it finish the cycle. You can also use these instructions (empty dishwasher cycle with vinegar) for unusual odors. I have found that running a few peels from citrus fruit in my garbage disposal (my dishwasher is attached to the disposal), also helps with smells.
