I paid the premium and go the more expensive hoses instead of the palin rubber houses, they look well made and they should last me as long as the washer hopefully. The SS braid helps it retain shape and so that it doesn't scratch or break as easily as the plain rubber ones so I highly recommend you spend a little more for SS type since you already are spending hundreds to thousands in your new washer.

So much better than filling with a plastic cup
