Great-if BB delivery staff actually install em

I have no problem with the hoses but I do have a BIG PROBLEM with BB's delivery staff. I ordered a new washer dryer & all the accessories so that they would install them for me. My adult daughter was there for the delivery & when I got home I had ONE stainless steel hose installed & ONE RUBBER HOSE! Since my washer didn't come with any hoses when I called to complain they couldn't understand where the rubber hose had come from!! Note the description clearly states its a TWO PACK!! They fixed but still disappointed with them, They also took the extra pieces from my dryer exhaust kit too!!!!!!!

After 1 month and 10 days the ST/STL Hose broke and leaked! I was shocked because it was knew. Unless it was defective inside.

Installers Couldn't Use

The installers couldn't use these hoses, even though I was forced to buy them when I purchased my washer. The original hoses and connections were pretty rough, and these guys didn't want to get into the job that would come with disconnecting the old hoses and replacing them. I didn't want two guys who weren't confident in their abilities to get into that work either, so they used the old hoses. These are sitting on my shelf unused. 1 star for BestBuy's policy and for the installers passing the buck.

This hose was a nice upgrade over the old original plastic hose. Very durable and easy to flex around. Looks great whenever I peek around the back of the unit to check things out. Sometimes I'll get up on the middle of the night to go peek behind the washer, and bask in the greatness of this hose (while my wife suffers cold and alone because she had married a man who left the warmth of the bed in the middle of the night to admire the new appliances)

Best buy talked me into buying a 6 foot stainless steel hose. They said it was far superior to the one that came with the LG washer. The stainless steel hose was 6 foot long and the one that came with the washer was 5 foot. After a month of trying to figure out why my water pipes were banging / hammering when the water was loading into the washer I called LG. LG said to remove the 6 foot stainless steel hose and replace it with the one that came with the washer, I did and the problem was solved, although I was stuck with a $30.00 stainless steel hose that I could not use.
What's great about it: It's pretty looking
What's not so great: Could not use the hose on my LG washer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

leak at the first wash !!!

The hose has started to leak at the first wash. I realized it was problem with the "O ring" that was bitten and so had a leak.
I went back to Best Buy and they said that the best would be to buy another O ring. I was not satisfied either with the response given by Best buy nor with the product.

I purchased this as an option suggested by the sales person in the store. When this set of hoses was delivered, the installation technician realized that they were damaged, and offered to install the standard rubber hoses for free. The stainless steel hoses certainly have much nicer looks, but the rubber hoses do the job just fine and have no additional cost.
