I purchased a new washer for my new home and the salesperson at the store recommended these hoses for a number of reasons. He seemed to have been working with appliances longer than I've been alive, so his recommendation of steel hoses over rubber hoses was welcomed.

I didn't really know, nor care for, the difference between steel hoses and rubber hoses, but then I remembered how rubber hoses would need frequent replacement at other places I've washed my laundry. I have been washing frequently due to the number of my household and these hoses seem to be holding up well.

The hoses are fine!!! If you need them to replace old rubber hoses they will do the job. However, don't let the salesman or the installers force you into buying hoses if yours are still good.
