Definitely better quality than the rubber hoses from the previous washer. Don't know though if we really needed the upgrade to stainless steel hoses. We had gift cards and saved so much money buying the washer, it was worth it to us to upgrade.

When we purchased out new Washer and Dryer set we wanted the FREE installation and this kit was one of the requirements BUT it was a great investment as our older hoses were near 12 years old and during the install I actually saw cracking in the rubber of the old set.
