New hoses less flexible than old ones

The new hoses are less flexible than the old ones and therefore push out the washer farther from the wall. Be sure that you have enough room in your space for that type hose and keep the old one in case you need it to make it fit in that space.

Nice quality stainless braided hose. I've always preferred these over the rubber ones. Note: if you buy a dryer with the steam option, they will likely provide you with a rubber Y-split and rubber hose.
