Why buy a rubber hose when you can get a quality metal hose for a under 20 bucks. I once had a rubber hose split and flood my laundry room. Never again. This is the only hose to buy.

Surprised that you have to buy something that is required to have in order to use the washer.
BUT, as I stated in my dryer review, you have two choices:
White, cheap and plastic or
Stainless steel.
I chose the latter. Looks better, lasts longer, less chance of holes or dripping and insurance premium is less.
As a matter of fact, your insurance will likely not cover a leak claim if you have the plastic set.
Get the Stainless set!
