New electric stove and convection oven

Just replaced original GE electric range with coils and this even has convection cooking. So far we have enjoyed using it for simple cooking chores.
It is easy to use and gives us so much more then the electric oven we replaced.

Great stove

I really like this stove except for the marks on the cooktop that happen very easily. I have made sure to use flat bottom pans and trying to not drag the pans across the stove.
I also have been having a problem with the burner on the right that allows 3 different size pans. When I have it on high to boil water, it keeps going on and off. It could be something that is supposed to happen to prevent overflows, but I am not sure.

Works well, but construction could be better.

I have been using my range for two months. The ceramic top cooks slower than coils, but I am adjusting. Oven temperature seems accurate and cooks evenly. I have not yet used the convection. The feet on the unit are plastic and can get askew when sliding the unit in place. Metal feet would be sturdier and therefore, more secure. The drawer is constructed of thin metal and not as nice as on my 1990's model.

Need more on use of burners
on December 7, 2016

I wish the temp controls were similar to my old stove. I bght. It because of the style for our newly remodeled kitchen. Baking cookies made the time shorter for baking with 3 racks.

Unreliable burners
on December 8, 2016

I had to buy an oven thermometer because everything was coming out undercooked. It turns out that it took an additional ten minutes for the temperature to be accurate, rather than when the temperature indicator buzzer sounded. The burners are also unreliable. Turning them to "Low" essentially does nothing. I have to turn them on "High" and then bring them down to where I want them before I start cooking, and even then they're usually too hot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
