We bought the stove as a replacement when we renovated our kitchen. It is really not that different than our older Profile model except that it offers a convection oven. I was disappointed that it did not come with a broiler pan so I rescued my old one from the previous oven before it was removed. I like the warmer surfaces on the back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love having a smooth top, and a 3-rack oven!

I'm always skeptical, but I've been using 3 months now and still love it. With the 3 racks and convection oven fan to distribute heat, you can cook several pans at same time. My first smoothtop and it heats so much better than the old elements. The right front burner has 3 size settings for 3 size pans, and gets hot quickly for boiling large stock pots. It cleans up easily too, which was a concern. This slide-in stove took the place of a drop-in we had, and nowadays at a much lower price (wait for the sales - they're HUGE.) There was some cutting of the countertops (1/4" on sides, 1/2"back) that we needed a sawzall for, for so worth it.

Overall, I'm satisfied. The only downside is the bottom drawer, It gives the appearance of being an afterthought; gaps in the corner bends and a poor looking fit. Makes the stove look unfinished.

Beautiful range

I love the looks of this slide in range. It does have a fan that runs whenever the oven is turned on, but it's not as loud as some reviewers mention. I have noticed that the oven does no heat up as quickly as other ranges I have owned. I have adjusted to this inconvience by starting the heating process sooner than I normally would. The stove top is fairly easy to maintain, but like any stove, needs to be cleaned often. Overall, I am very pleased with our selection of this appliance.
