Bakes like a charm

The oven bakes evenly. The 3 burners with extra power really do boil liquids fast. We love the double burners that can be used together for a large grill pan. The warming zone is a nice feature for keeping things warm while you cook other things. The top does require some scrubbing with cerma bright to keep it clean. I believe the little "bumps" on the burners are the cause of this. That's the only complaint I have. It is a very nice stove and oven and I am happy I bought it except for the nightly scrubbing after I cook dinner.

Great oven, burners hard to control

We love the look of the Slate color and the slide in range look. But I believe the surface burners are very hard to control. We just replaced our old GE smooth top electric with this. It just seems like you need to really turn the burners down to 1-2 to prevent boiling or burning things. The oven is GREAT ! Heats up much faster and bakes more evenly !!

Good range

The range is nice, but the gap filler strip does not work, if you have a counter top strip in the back of the cabinet opening. The supplied range strip is the same height as the stove and does NOT slide over the counter top strip in the back, but is even with it. The only way we could make the range fit in the space was to take the range strip off. On our old GE Profile range (gas model) the strip was up higher than the range and slid right over the counter strip.

My installer recommended this range when the much more expensive range I bought would not fit. I'm very pleased. I am right handed and tend to use the right side of the stove more so I like the heat element that adjust to three sizes depending on the size of the pan. I got the black and it looks really great.

The cook surface heats evenly and well, the oven heats well also. We have found that the oven cooling fan takes a long time to cool it off, the glass surface seems to get dirty easily and can be hard to keep clean. Finally, the oven drawer is not real sturdy so don't put much weight in it. Overall, I like it very well.
