Numbers rub off too quick

This stove is okay but one flaw that it has is that the temperature decal rubs off over time. I've only had this stove less than 3 years and I can't see what temp the stove is on.

Unfortunately the 3 way burning element did not last 4 years and the warranty is only for one year. Just expected to get a longer usage time on the burring elements.

Terrible Quality range

At first I really loved this stove but after using it for about 2 years it is the worst stove I have ever used quality wise. The Oven works generally good as do the burners mostly. But this has 3 major flaws, and apparently by reviews online I am not alone in this: 1. The lettering around the stove knobs comes off far too easily. Mine were all but gone within 2 years. And this is from cleaning with water and mild soap as per the instructions in the manual. 2. After 2 years (and after warranty expired) the center element on the large 3 size burner stopped working making that burner completely unusable, And since this is the largest burner it means we have to replace the stove. 3. The glass surface is not resilient enough for everyday use. You will get scratches, and marks no matter how well you polish or clean it and no matter how careful you are with using the correct type of pans, physical force, etc. Simply unacceptable. I expect better quality from GE than this. It is quite literally the worst quality range I have ever owned.

Glass door front held on with glue and then under the handle. The handle got loose. Door smashed. Really poor design for an oven.

Disappointed

We bought this slide in range 2 weeks before Thanksgiving 2014. The smooth top extending over the counter tops is a great feature for easy cleaning, and the shiny black and stainless steel design is a beautiful addition to the kitchen. The various burner sizes available are a very nice option. If we were occasional cooks this range would be fine. As far as function and durability are concerned, it does not suit our needs.
Function - Oven temperature regulation has been a disappointing challenge. On Thanksgiving the oven temperature was so inaccurate that the turkey was cooking too fast at first, and then not enough after the temperature was lowered, causing us to eat more than an hour later than planned. Baking was also a very unsatisfactory experience. After purchasing an oven thermometer, it was determined that the actual temperature could be as much as 100 degrees lower than the display at times, and fluctuated between 25 and 50 degrees off at others. In December, we managed to change the settings on the control panel and it seems better, but still has to be tested further. -The stovetop burners are not as quick heating as we had hoped, though an improvement over our previous, very slow heating glass top stove.
Durability: (radiant stovetop & stainless) It seems counterproductive to always be concerned with how we use pots and pans-- move or turn them--and which are acceptable-- in order to prevent scratches and damage on the cooktop and stainless steel front. During the holidays, someone helping with cooking almost dragged a pot across the stove, which could have easily been disastrous. Another guest accidentally used the wrong side of the sponge lightly on the front around the knobs, and now we have very noticeable scratches in the stainless steel on a product we’ve owned less than two months. It seems silly but we’ll have to constantly give visitors a tutorial on how to gingerly use the cooktop. We had hoped that our new range would be a durable, efficient appliance in our busy kitchen, not a delicate showpiece. This was not the right purchase for our needs.

Do not buy! Very poor quality. The start indicator light on this product does not light up. The bottom drawer is cheap and rust easily.

I believed this would be a very convenient choice with three burner options plus the other three burners. However, I have found when using the larger two sizes the burner cooks extremely hot on the smallest ring and has cooked hotter than needed even on the lowest settings. I am very disappointed. I have an expensive set of cookware and NONE of the burners fit the pans. They are all too large or too small. The black top is also very difficult to keep clean, fingerprints and smears are very visible. it requires a full cleaning after each use.
