Purchased this oven as a replacement to a slide in range with coil top. As part of replacing countertops and updating kitchen it made sense to replace oven at the same time. The look is seamless and contemporary with the slide in nature and we love the look. Have used oven and stove top and have no complaints. Had been used to cooking on an electric stove for a number of years and while I used to prefer gas, have had to change to electric due to gas being unavailable. Burners seem to have fine adjustability, like the warming burner (and it's variable settings) but have not yet had reason to use the two burner bridge. Love the three size feature of the one large burner. Oven bakes/cooks well and broils well. Drawer below has ample space for storage. The controls are in a good location however, manual was required for some of the features (ie. timer) as they were not as user obvious as some past ovens ( ie. not like microwave controls )....but are easy to use after the "duh" moment with the manual. Had considered the dual oven stove by GE but after looking at low position required to access bottom large oven ( who is going to get on hands and knees to lift a large turkey out?) decided to make do with one oven. So far so good! Top cleans up well with cleaner provided and my pots ( copper bottom) are able to be used with it.

just installed a day ago ...I replaced a drop in range with this slide in range because I wanted the bottom drawer for storage and more. this range has all the features I was looking for like quick boil, convection oven, five burner ( 1 warmer ) , griddle bridge and a nice stainless steel finish

Just received my new GE JS750 oven and so far I DO NOT LIKE IT. The fan runs too long cannot get it to turn off. The start button light is NOT working. The TIMER is NOT working. The Manual that came with it is poorly written it has NO directions on how to use the oven features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
