I bought the same stove that I had purchased 13 years before because I liked it so much. On the new range, It cooks well, I like the convection option on the oven, I like the three sizes burner on the stove top, but I must say I was a bit disappointed: it heats more slowly, the top has changed from a speckled appearance to more of a solid black and it shows dirt and spills much more, the drawer on the bottom looks very poorly made.

This is our second GE slide-in range and a replacement for one we had for fifteen years. We never had problems with the first one, but decided to get the stainless finish as we are upgrading our appliances.

This is to replace a Jenn-Air downdraft I absolutely loved, but it couldn't be repaired any longer. I searched a long time and found my GE. It is beautiful to look at and cooks like a dream. The oven is large so I can fit large pans and several items at the same time. The stove comes with 5 burners which is very convenient. My only complaint is the oven heat is discharged to the front of the stove. Since I have an exhaust fan, this is really not too bad although I wish the oven heat came out of the top rear or sides. I have been very pleased with my purchase.

I love to cook & this stove is very responsive & fun to use. It's quite "hot" compared to my previous electric stove so I can use less heat therefore I can save energy. I am very happy with my stove.
