Have used this range and oven for about 5 months. I like the cooktop - it cooks evenly and cleans up nicely. I don't like the cooling fan that runs when the oven is turned on. I'm told that because it's a slide in range it needs the cooling fan to keep the electronics cool.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this slide in range several months ago and I especially love the convection bake. This feature bakes everything so much faster and more evenly.

Cooks well / Looks Good

We replaced all our kitchen appliances, including this stove, in June with GE appliances. The stove works well and looks good, which is important because the kitchen is part of our open living space. We especially like 1- the convection oven and 2- the third rack in the oven. The third rack is a great convenience when making pizzas for a group.

Just what I wanted!

Being 5'3", I've always hated having to reach the knobs at the back of the stove when I had a boiling pot of pasta on the front burner (especially when I was pregnant!). I also hated having to clean them too. I've also thought that the food that spills over the side of the oven was really difficult to clean and gross, but didn't really feel like pulling out the stove to clean it. Added bonus feature I hadn't even thought about was the smooth bottom in the oven. No more exposed heating elements, so soooo much easier to clean up if I accidentally spill stuff in the oven! So smart!
I've only used the stove top and the regular baking mode (not the convection) so far, but have liked them both. When the oven was pre-heating, it showed what the temperature was so that was fun to watch. It also heated the oven up much quicker than our old oven (which, to be fair was a very basic oven from about 10+ years ago). I did notice that the cooling fan was on for a long time after I had finished baking (maybe 45 min to an hour for having baked at 350 degrees), but the next time I left the oven door open (it was chilly enough in the morning to do that), it cut the fan time to about 15 min. Although it didn't bother me too much either way, since the oven is in an area that's not too close to the living room.
So far this oven has been exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait till it's baking season (aka Fall/Winter) so I can spend more time with the oven and figure out all its features!
