I purchased a newly designed Bissel prior to this and I hated how the dirty water was wrapped around a clean water like balloon. I was amazed their designers came up with such a stupid design. It was a real pain unloading and reloading.

I returned the Bissel and purchased this simple design Hoover. It works good and is easy to use.

What's great about it: Easy to use!

I would recommend this to a friend!

Good overall shampooer for many uses

Really like that it cleans my carpet in the house, in the car and furniture. Very good cleaning system and actually helped me train my new little puppy by applying shampoo with odor the pet does not like.

What's great about it: multiple uses

What's not so great: heavy to drag around and take outside for car upholstery

DID THE JOB

I have used all the store rentals, my wife bought a much lesser model that did ok but none compared!! High traffic area, CLEAN!!! Stubborn spots, CLEAN!!! Upholstery, CLEAN!! And it all dried pretty darn quick, even in this cool weather. If you are looking this is the one.

What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to setup

What's not so great: If I find something I'll let you know

Great Product

Did research before I purchased this product. Read the reviews before considering to purchase this product. Bought it cause it was on sale and it works really well. It cleaned the carpets as it stated and from the reviews. Had to buy more carpet cleaning solution because the bottle was only good for about one room, depending the size of the room. I used the carpet cleaner on the living room and dining room. So far the product has worked perfectly. No problems whatsoever. The only downside to this product is that you have to empty out the bottom of the tank because it gets filled up fast.

What's great about it: performance, ease of use, price

What's not so great: none

Good product for the price

We have 3 large dogs, cats, and a energetic grandson who manage to bring the outside yard in. We were going to rent a carpet cleaner to shampoo the 3 area rugs located under the dining room table, under the couches, and at the front door, but you never know "what" the machine you rented cleaned before you got it. With that in mind we decided to purchase one and even if we only used it, say 4 times a year, it would pay for itself. After reading the reviews posted we decided on this model. It was easy to both assemble and operate. It cleaned the rugs well and they were all were dry within an hour! We have wood floors and followed the directions using a blue tarp (kept in case of hurricanes) under the rugs. The only drawback is the frequent filling and emptying of the containers. The supplied shampoo only lasted only for the 3 area rugs.

What's great about it: Price, simple to use, cleaned well and removed most of the water

What's not so great: Frequent emptying of the waste water and filling of the shampoo/water containers

I would recommend this to a friend!

the best carpet cleaners I had use.

I had a very dirty carpet, and this machine did it. let me tell you something, I use to clean carpet with a company and I did not believe that this machine could do the job. you have to go slow. and if you have a very dirty area pretread it with a carpet cleaners spray. After you do a area go back over with not water to try to get the much water is possible from the carpet. I wish it could have a bigger waste water tank.

What's great about it: Easy to use

What's not so great: waste water tank kind of small.
