worth the money!

I was tired of renting a steam cleaner every couple of months to clean my carpet. I have 2 large dobermans in the house who are eager to make a mess, and not to mention a husband!! I wasn't sure what I was looking for so I just went to the nearest Best Buy. The salesman was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what I was looking for. The Clean Surge is wonderful at getting deep down dirt. I was so excited about how well it cleaned I had the entire house cleaned in about 2-3 days! This was definitely a GREAT investment!!

I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this cleaner

I just love my Hoover Steamvac carpet cleaner. The price is great and it is easy to put water and cleaner in the machine and to empty the water well after you are done cleaning your floor. You are only lifting about 1 gallon to fill and empty. This makes it ideal for older people as well as younger.
You also do not have to worry about being hooked up to a water source since it is all independant.
I have 2 dogs and live in the midwest and would not want to be without it.

What's great about it: spinning brushes are great,deep cleans carpets also works well on any floor

What's not so great: Could have a longer cord

I would recommend this to a friend!

Stop renting that rug doctor

This cleaned our old carpets very well. It works just as good if not better then the rug doctor rental. The carpets were only slightly moist and were completely dry after 6 hours. I don't know why you would want to spend more on a different machine (pointless options perhaps?). Only bad part is that you will have to refill/empty water tanks somewhat often.

What's great about it: Does everything it should very well.

What's not so great: Somewhat small water containers.

I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this carpet cleaner. My carpet came out cleaner then when I paid someone to do it. I used the deep cleaning hoover cleaning solution and my carpet is clean,fresh and soft. I don't know how I did without it all these years. Thanks Hoover.

What's great about it: everything

What's not so great: a bit heavy

I love it!!

I just bought and used this steam cleaner today, and I love it!! I live in a rented townhouse, and my puppy had diarrhea all over my upstairs hallway. It smelled TERRIBLE, and left stains that I was afraid would never come out. Fearing the worst (having to replace all my carpet) I researched cleaners and this one was reasonable in price and had attachments for upholstery which I like, so I bought it. (I used the in store pick up option and was in and out in like two minutes! It was awesome). Got it home, put it together in under 10 minutes filled it up, and carried it upstairs. Turned it on, and almost immediately I could see it getting the stains up. I followed the directions (pull and push it slowly, use two wet strokes then two dry ones) and THE STAINS ARE GONE!! You would never guess that my puppy had made a mess. I highly recommend this product to anyone that has a pet/kid/husband etc that makes a mess.

If you are thinking about it, get one!! You won't be sorry! And it will probably save you hundreds of dollars in pro services and/or replacing carpet.

What's great about it: Easy to assemble and use

What's not so great: a little bit heavy

I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent!!!

As mom to three dogs - one a puppy, I thought I would never get the puppy accident stains up. Bought this machine after reading the Best Buy reviews, and talking to one of their sales people at the store. I came home, put it together, and to my delight, the stains are gone. This did a far better job than the old Bissell that I threw out after buying and seeing the results of this Hoover. If you want clean carpets, buy this machine. It may not have all the bells and whistles that some of the other machines have, but it does a superior job of cleaning the carpets. If you are in the market for a steamvac, buy this one.

What's great about it: Easy to assemble, works as advertised.

What's not so great: A little heavy.

I would recommend this to a friend!
