Absolutely love this machine. I'm 69 yrs old & I have no problem using it. Brushes do a fantastic job; love the side to side cleaning; carpet dries very quickly; no streaks. Can't say enough good about it; it is GREAT. I have recommended it to my family and friends; several have purchased one like mine. I have to "house dogs" and occasional accidents occur but this machine have cleaned my carpet perfectly!

Very solid steamvac

Great overall steamvac.

Tip: Take your time when pulling over wet area.
Tip: Go over the area in atleast two swipes to ensure liquid is collected

What's great about it: Cleans up carpets well

What's not so great: Small collection bin, must empty ALOT

Very Good Cleaning

For the last couple of years I have rented a steam cleaner. I payed about $100 for everything to rent it for a day. I bought this a few days ago and it did twice the job as the one commercial cleaner that I rented. We have two kids and a dog so our carpet is usually trashed.

Excellent Do-It-Your-Self Cleaner

Purchased this item for my wife for Christmas because she is a compulsive cleaner and just loves this Hoover cleaner. She has vowed to never hire another professional cleaner again because the results with this cleaner were excellent. Your carpet will professionally cleaned and when you suck the water up after scrubbing you will see how dirty your carpet really was. Great buy at a Great price!!!!!!

What's great about it: The ability to dry floors quickly

What's not so great: This cleaner heavy, you will need muscle.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrific buy!

I bought this carpet cleaner after checking it out at Consumerreports.com and reading the customer reviews at BestBuy.com. This machine with the rotating brushes cleans better and the extraction power for sucking up the water is superior to any rental unit I've used. The carpet was dry enough to replace the furniture is 20 minutes. And I"ll save money over the cost of rentals over the lifetime of the unit. I couldn't be happier.

What's great about it: Cleans and DRIES better than a rental

What's not so great: Nothing

I would recommend this to a friend!

Good cleaner

We are buying a different soap to see if this helps. It did pull out a lot of dirty water an the carpet looked better afterwards. However, we have a new puppy and well, we were looking to really get that puppy smell out. I think the carpet cleaner works great. We just need to find the right soap for the job.

What's great about it: It leaves the carpet fairly dry.

What's not so great: It didn't get the doggy smell out the first time through. However this may be a soap problem.

I would recommend this to a friend!

lots of dirty water! good thing! no leaks

I researched this item before I purchased it through the many reviews on Best Buys website. It was on sale too. The website said they had it in stock at my local store. I went there, was promptly asked if I needed any help, the clerk got it down from the top rack, I bought it and was out of the store within 5 minutes! Great! As for the quality of the product, GREAT on its first run here at my house. It took about 10 minutes to assemble. The water was soooo dirty, and thats a good thing. Performed like a commercial model steam cleaner.

What's great about it: economically priced, carpet was dry really fast

What's not so great: the detergent soap used up too fast

I would recommend this to a friend!
