We had a GE wine chiller that served its purpose for eight years. We wanted similar longevity and were pleased with the appearance as well as the price point of this unit.

Had only 2 years and it died

We built a new house that came with GE profile appliances, no other options. Because we wanted the wine fridge to match, we purchased a GE wine fridge also. This fridge just broke and is now a wine heater, reaching close to 80* temps and cannot cool. This is the most recent disappointing experience with GE appliances. We have already had to replace the GE garbage disposal which died, replaced a burner on the cooktop, replaced 3 different parts on a defective dishwasher, have fridge doors adjusted twice and now this wine fridge just died. It is beyond disappointing that GE’s quality is so poor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great wine chiller & it’s locking too!

Spacious and lockable with a tinted glass front window that made up for the lack of a black unit that would match my other appliances.
