Extremely Poor Durability

I have bought 2 of these in 5 years, the compressor failed on both. Like a prevoius review I had custom cabinets built around this wine fridge. They are 19" wide which is extremely uncommon for a wine fridge so I'm now left with the bad options of either paying several hundred dollars to fix this piece of junk, but the it again, or modify my cabinets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great storage

This is a replacement for a 2006 Wine Chiller and I greatly appreciate that it’s sleeker than the former with better storage arrangements. And actually prettier too.

We have had this wine fridge for less than two years and now it stays at 66 degrees and WE CANNOT GET SERVICE. The app is broken. There is no way to get service. GE has lost credibility in my book. Used to love their products due to excellent service. Could NOT be more disappointed. No wonder their stock is in the toilet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Liked Old Design Better

I bought this wine chiller to replace the older model, which lasted 10 years for us before the compressor finally blew out. I find the layout of this new model to be odd. The bottom shelf is especially awkward. No matter how I load the bottom shelf, the back bottle doesn't fit under the shelf above it. The sideways design of that bottom shelf is also annoying-- it means you have to unload the two bottles in the front to get to the bottle in the back. That said, I am glad GE still makes this wine chiller. The previous owners of our house designed our wet bar around a 19" width, and GE is the only company that seems to make a wine cooler in that dimension. I would like to see the bottom shelf design go back to the older model though-- where you could lay four bottles of champagne in a row and then use the rest of the fridge for normal wine bottles. It was easier to see bottle labels in the older design and it also had more capacity.
