Good Printer for the price

I choose the printer for the price and features. I wanted a printer to connect to my wireless home network. The install instructions for the were somewhat lacking. The default automatic install failed because my network is secured with a password. The message returned did not report his fact - it ony returned a general intallation failed message. I went into the manual install and was prompted for a network password which then attached the printer to the network, Either I missed a message rgarding a password or I believe the procedures shoul be improved to include a warning about secured networks, Other wise the printer works well as I expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to install, Quiet

This is a pretty good printer. It was very easy to install. Prints quietly and quickly. Thought that it had a network plug as well as a wireless feature though.

Have only used it for a few weeks -- probably less than 200 copies. Had a problem with its refusing to pick up the paper. Customer service told me what to do, and it solved the problem. No complaints.

Easy to setup. Works great. This is a great printer for daughter for college. It prints fast, is more economical than her InkJet printer. I would say that 95% of her printing will be black and white - not color needed. This prints fast, the toner does not run like the InkJet.

This product was everything the HP rep explained. If you are looking to print just in black and white and a large quantity, this is the product for you! I am so happy with this product. I couldn't believe my job was printed out within seconds. At first I thought it was a jam and then when I looked at the last page it was all printed out. I am extremely thrilled with all of HP's products. I have bought two computers, two printers, scanner, paper. I love HP products! Double thumbs up to HP!

This is my second HP printer, and I can't imagine why anybody would want any other printer! The print quality is wonderful, it's easy to set up, and has a greatly improved on/off system that saves electricity. Neat, good looking, compact, fast. I recommend this printer highly.
