I am a college student, I print a lot. This printer is fast and ink lasts a very long time. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This could be a great printer, but I am unable to verify since web services on the printer will not connect, so I cannot access the eprint or mobile device printing features. (Note: I can print wirelessly in the home)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First Purchase of a LaserJet Printer

I run a small Tax Business out of my home and I chose to purchase a laser jet printer to help save on the cost of printing. Small, efficiant and wireless are the best features of my new printer.

Good Printer; Documentation Needs Work

This is a good printer and well worth the price. The setup/installation documentation, however, is not up to par. For someone who will be using the printer both connected via USB to a desktop and wirelessly to other devices, the setup/installation documentation is inadequate and confusing. Be advised that there are various YouTube videos (one of which is done by HP) which are more helpful than the documentation which accompanies the printer.

Good basic b&w printer

This printer was easy to set up (I used a cable connection to the PC) and it prints good quality b&w relatively fast. We've only had the printer for a week, so ask me again in a year. I hope it is as much of a workhorse as our previous Laser Jet 2100 which never gave us a day of trouble in many years of use.

Great when it works

I purchased this LaserJet for document printing and wireless printing from my iPad. The reason I was drawn to this was my HP inkjet printer. Wifi and network print works flawlessly on that but the LaserJet took many hours to finally set up for wireless printing. 24hour support does not include Apple products. The first complicated directions on the web did not solve the issue. Since then I've lost the wireless connection and again difficult to reconnect. Like I said before the HP inkjet has never lost it's connection. I would give the LaserJet a 5 star if it was not for the connection issue.

Easy. Convenient. Laser prints.

I got the printer as a convenience for my wife. It's relatively small and inconspicuous; it sits quietly in a corner of the dining room waiting for my wife to send something to print. When she hits the "Print" button, the P1102w jumps into action.
It was easy to set up. I had three PCs connected in about an hour: two Windows 7, one XP.
