Great, Cheap Printer

Why didn't I buy this sooner? It's so nice to just hit "print" on the laptop from anywhere in the house and not even have to go turn the printer on! Works from both MAC and PC, can go anywhere in the house, and turns itself on when you hit Print. Has it's own email address so you can print from anywhere via email. Haven't had it long enough, but my last small HP laser that wasn't wireless would go about 2 years on a toner cartridge, and I'm expecting the same out of this one. A small footprint and wireless capacity means I could put it just about anywhere. Installation did not work as promised, but an instructional utube video I found made installation easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased to used with Ipad and smart phone, will not bluetooth link to either. I gave the printer to my it department, they could not get it to work either. It is now tethered to a laptop docking station by a cable. Wil not work as advertised.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good little desk printer

We now have a few of these printers in our office. It's compact and prints nicely. I would definitely reccomend this as either a home office printer or a single employee printer. It prints labels nicely as well.

Bit Disappointed

I was very optimistic about this printer, but it did not set up as effortlessly as expected (wirelessly), but it was just a few minutes more than I anticipated. Then it started printing. Nice output, with little time to awake from sleep, and quick as well. However, after a few days and maybe 20 pages of printing, it has started to have issues about sensing whether there is paper in the tray, so an intermediate screen comes up saying something to the effect "add paper or click on continue." Of course, there is paper in the tray, so I have to click on continue. Annoying, irritating. I am concerned that this may be a harbinger of future, more serious paper-handling issues. We'll see. In the meantime, I'm a bit disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced a very old 4P printer. I cannot believe how fast this prints - unbelievable! Can't say anything negative, this printer makes me one very happy customer. Price, print quality and ease of use all top shelf. Thanks HP!

This inexpensive compact laser printer is perfect for home use. Wireless printing is prompt and fabulous, and energy saving mode is a welcome feature.

The HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer works great. Using it with my computer hard-wired and a 2nd computer printing wirelessly from another room, both operating on Windows 7. I especially like the feature of the printer turning itself on only when needed and powering down between uses. It's faster than my old HP-1000 with equal quality
