Great little printer for home.

Great little printer for home. It prints pretty fast and the wireless connection works very well. The setup documentation could be better but I was able to get it working with little problem. Can't beat the price.

LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer

Product is very good. Prints quickly. Although it has a higher rating, I still prefer the print quality of my HP Laser Jet 4L, which this replaced.
It was an absolute chore to get the WIFI compatible with a MAC. The HP Manual was of zero help. If you're a PC user, perhaps it's different, but there were NO instructions to get the wireless set-up if you use a MAC.

Worth the price

Shipping, packaging , on time and and well protected ... the printer works great the price was very reasonable and the print quality is superb! The only real frustrating thing was the protector strips that are used to guard the toner cartridge, and other sensitive surface to surface points ... they need to be marked/Labeled remove before use! The user manual is just about useless !

I have 12 of these in our office and most install and work without a hitch. The last 2 that I bought this month (July 2013) will not install no matter what I do. I spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support and they couldn't solve the problem and passed it to second level support. I have waited 8 days for them to call me and the 2 printers sit unusable on the desks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Always wanted a laser printer but they were so expensive. Thank you so much for one I could afford. It works great. Prints really fast , just right for my small business and home use. We can print from our cell phones, tablets and lap top also. It was easy to set up. Would recommend this product to every one for home or business.

Very difficult on XP

Great inexpensive LaserJet but not if you're setting up a Windows XP computer. I couldn't get using my Windows computer so I called tech support. The tech spent 3 hours updating and adding software to no avail. I later tried it myself and on my Macbook, same results. I called tech support again this trying it on the Mac, in 15 minutes everything was working. I could print from the Mac, the iPad, Kindle. I will work around the Windows computer.
