Great Bedroom TV

This TV is great for the bedroom. It has an awesome picture I love being able to access the apps from my room. Nice crisp and clear picture and I can even watch it without my glasses. And the price was just right!

Normally, I never really write reviews but I made an exception with this television. To say the least it's simply delightful. The television has a crisp clear display with vivid colors (When we first turned it on we played with the settings a bit and tweaked to our taste.) There is no displacement or fragmentation that we could see; black levels are good as well as brightness. The sound is adequate (If you want better sound, get a better model or a sound bar.) The two “legs” that the television rests on would be my only complaint. I prefer the pedestal architecture on televisions. We ordered a wall mount so this will be a moot point for us by next week. Be not afraid. This is an outstanding television!

We actually purchased two of the tv's as Christmas gifts for our son and daughter. They were both extremely happy with these gifts. They are easy enough to operate by my five year old. He loves the smart functions and breezes through them like a pro. I think this was one of the best purchase we've made this year!

No directv app

Needs the DIRECTV app. More apps need to be available

Internet problems

Have had two of this tv because I can't fix this problem. Every single time I turn it on, go to smart hub, and attempt to access Netflix or YouTube, it comes up with a message telling me "preparing TV. Try again later" and nothing will happen - no access. Each time I have to go into the network settings and refresh my wifi and, so far, it'll reach and I'll be able to get to what I want. But it's frustrating because it does this every time I turn it on.... so every time I have to refresh. Kinda defeats the purpose of getting it. I have tried resetting it to factory settings, as someone mentioned this will help. I've also tried playing around with my signal. But nothing does it. Seeing that it's two of these that have done this now, I'm conflicted as to whether or not I want to just grin and bear it or return it. I'm thinking return.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor internet control
