Wonderful Picture, Sound hurts my ears

Great TV for size, fit in the entertainment center I already had, perfect picture, but the sound literally hurts my ears. Cheap tinny sound. I have an older model Samsung, 32" bedroom tv and has full pleasant sound. Don't buy if you want good sound. No aux sound jack to hook up additional speakers.
I was amazed to see that my new TV only had a few inputs/outputs. I have a DVD player, a Wii U, my cable box, & my sound bar plugged in. No other inputs or outputs available after connecting everything. Overall... it's a nice TV, & I hope it lasts me a while. I generally refuse to pay for extended warranties, when I purchase anything electronic. I figure a year warranty is good enough to get started... & if the product fails or has serious problems after 1 year... I will just purchase a new product, but NOT the same brand. Kinda my way of saying: "Manufacture a decent product... & I will be a loyal customer for a long time. If not... I will simply find another brand." PS: This is my first Smart TV, & I love it.
Pros: Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

LOVE SIZE PERFECT. GREAT PICTURE QUALITY. LOOKS GOOD ON WALL. WILL RECOMMEND TV
I had been speculating the purchase of a new television for a few years when I saw this TV and I could not pass on it. The color is great and I love the features as well. And all graphics are so clear. I am extremely happy I finally took the plunge.
Remote control is nearly worthless, unable to connect keyboard/mouse

Using the cable for TV, you can not change channels with the remote. The remote can only turn the TV on and off. I was planning to connect a keyboard and mouse, but there are not available connections on the TV. My older Samsung Smart TV is better than this new one.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, remote control is worthless
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent picture. Recognized my HDHomeRun OTA tuner box on my network instantly (DLNA)

I use an HDHomeRun dual TV tuner box with my tower-mounted outdoor antenna, which places the video signals on my home network. I cut the CATV cord a year ago, and don't miss it at all.
All I have at the location of this great little 32" Smart TV is a network drop and it was an absolute must that whatever TV I install there must recognize any DLNA server devices on my network. It found my HDHomeRun box instantly and interfaces with it perfectly.
Additionally, the SmartTV apps that are available work quite nicely, and again, because I have no CATV or even the direct OTV cable going to it, that significantly adds to its functionality, providing quite a nice array of video/audio programming.
I primarily picked this model because I needed 2 smaller bedroom Smart TV's that had WiFi capability and supported DLNA for my Netgear ReadyNAS. To my surprise it has several online steaming apps already available for it such as Hulu, Netflix, YouTube and my personal favorite Plex.
I use Plex Server on my ReadyNAS and stream all of my favorite content to the TV via the Plex App installed on the TV. The built-in WiFi is very good. My WiFi router is in the basement while one of the TV's is on the second floor of a brick house. Despite the distance, I never have connectivity issues. All of my streamed content is smooth with no pauses or skips. The TV found both my 5GHz and 2GHz WiFi signals.
I gave it only 4 stars for performance for two reasons. First, you can't make the Smart Hub screen (Apps Screen) the default screen when the TV is turned on. Second, you cannot get into the Smart Hub screen until the TV has been turned on for at least 3 minutes. If you try before 3 minutes you get a prompt that says "Not ready yet, please try again later".
I live in an area where there is no reception via antenna and I don't want to pay for cable or other types of service. I already pay for online streaming content and only want to use that. So having the Smart Hub available when it is first turned on would be awesome.
