Picture looks great after I realize you have to look at different channels with HD.
Pros: Inexpensive

I bought this TV (UN40EH5300FXZA, or Samsung 40" LED 5300 Smart TV) in September 2012, and I have been using since then. The TV has a very good design, with a nice user-friendly interface, and it fits very well to my living room. I did not experience any problems with connecting my cable TV or digital TV boxes. I watched DVDs with a very high video and sound quality, and this TV was very successful. The built-in apps are fine, and I liked the Eco Sensor that adjusts the TV brightness by sensing the room light. Wi-Fi is a standard in Smart TVs, and I am happy with the presence of it. There are some cons though.
The Skype camera is sold separately, therefore you have to buy the expensive "Samsung" camera for having Skype with video. Without the keyboard, it is really very difficult to write something with the standard TV remote, that is a major con. Samsung keyboard is also expensive. However, when you look at the price/performance ratio, this TV is at the cheaper and more efficient side. I will definitely recommend it, because I bought it in 2012. This TV's electricity consumption is very low, 33W in daily usage and 89W even at maximum usage.
If I were to buy a new Smart LED TV now, I would look at the more expensive models, that have more functions and better clear motion rates. However, I liked this product and I would definitely recommend it with a rating of 4 out of 5.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, eco sensor
Cons: remote doesn't have a keyboard., no built-in camera must for skype.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second Samsung LED TV. I also own 32 EH3500 & I loved both the tv, with the picture quality & usability. Everything in the TV is good, except for the YouTube app, which sometimes freezes the TV or reboots it, so I stopped using the YouTube app. I still get automatic updates from Samsung, which is really good in terms of their service and support. And of-course, the Speaker quality is not up to mark, but that is not a let down.
I am disappointed that the Allshare software is not compatible with a Mac. Had I realized this prior to making the purchase, I would not have purchased the product.
