Smart buy for a Smart TV

The TV is very good though not excellent. The TV is now from an older generation in the line of Samsung TV products but is still a very good buy if one is looking for a Smart TV at an affordable price.
The apps included are very good and you get everything from Youtube to Netflix, from Hulu to Amazon Videos. Movies on rent and to buy are also available with a few free movies. One would feel typing on the SmartTV keypad to be a bit cumbersome since you have to navigate(press arrow keys) a lot to press each key.
TV color rendition and color quality is very good. Contrast is good too. The picture is crisp and clear. One advice would be to find out the right TV size for you according to viewing distance. HD picture seems great from a distance of around 8 feet.
The TV is really smart as it auto dims the display and also switches off if it's not use but kept on. Wi-Fi is easy to set up. It can also play videos in many formats from your USB or HDD. You can also use the Samsung Link (previously Allshare) to watch content from other devices on your TV.
The design of the TV is really good. Very thin bezel and light weight. It has 3 HDMI inputs which is also a great thing.
Now about the cons of the TV. The sound is really tiny and sometimes you can't hear much if there are background noises. Picture quality seems to deteriorate a bit for low resolution videos. Apart from this everything else in the TV is great!!
Good buy for the price. I would suggest buying this if you want a budget smart TV.

Excellent TV. This is the second Samsung of this size that we have purchased. Terrific features and a very good value for the money.

This is my first LED TV. I do home theater/audio visual installs. And this TV surpasses my expectations. It seems to be clearer than more expensive model.

We buyed this TV recently and viewing television has become a alltogether new experience. With the smart-hub feature, we can directly connect our home internet to TV which opens a whole new aspects of TV viewing.
No issues at all and running great all the time.

I love my samsung smart tv

I bought this tv for my bedroom, now I want to replace my plasma tv in my tv room with another samsung smart tv. I love this tv so much will never buy anything but a samsung tv again. You guys Rock!!!

Best TV I have ever had. Picture is crisp and clear and the built in Smart functions are terrific. Only problem is that my wife bought it for my "man Cave" now she has to watch tv alone in the other room. I Love this set!
