Works as advertised. Easy enough to set up and the instructions are clear. It's a little slow when the picture resolution changes while channel surfing. The on-screen manual is a nice touch, but a more comprehensive version should be available on-line

Nicely priced Smart TV

Perfect for my bedroom. I only really care about Netflix and that seems to work fine so far. I can ditch my other media player/box and save space. I was not even able to get the keyboard to come up at the web search box. I've heard people say the remote stinks for this, but I couldn't even get the keyboard to appear! Well, I didn't buy the TV for that, so I'm not too worried. It's a very good value for what you get.
i love my samsung tv. the problem is i've had to have it repaired twice in 6 months. the servicing process was pleasant with no extra cost because of warranty.
This is a 2012 Smart TV that needs a few upgrades to make it better. Biggest disappointment was the point and click use of the remote with virtual keyboards to do web browsing and search for videos. Seems there are no combo Blue Tooth mouse and keyboard combos that will perform that function (I found one in the UK and await its arrival-fingers crossed). Secondly, 1080P is a wonderful concept, but I was told by my cable company that no one broadcasts 1080P because of the broadband issues. So I still use 1080i for that. Of course there are Blu-ray discs and downloads(?) to satisfy my need for detail, but I was not advised by my salesman of much of that. I did call and investigate, but too late. The TV is easy to hook and to set up, and was operating within 15 minutes. Picture is good and the set looks great with the slim surround. Speakers are adequate for listening, but I'm sure there are some who want a better set of speakers for more refined sound. Access to the Smart section by Source is easy and the selection of Netflix, Amazon and the Smart Hub will get you into the "available" (read: cost extra) features. My Wi-Fi router is perfectly adequate to power the set and no obvious buffering is evident during downloads or viewing. So it's a good TV for the price; but there are newer Samsung models with higher prices that fill some of the gaps in this one.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, easy to operate, cable remote can be taught on-off and volume
Cons: Did not meet expectations, reflects room lights
I would recommend this to a friend!

The picture and sound are good. There is a problem with Netflix that will not allow videos to load. That is my primary use of this tv, so I have to watch Netflix with a Wii.
Cons: netflix app doesn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was so excited about all the capabilities offered, but quickly have become disappointed and even considering returning this TV, the performance is very poor, it feels like a slow PC from the 90's, continuous crashing, freezing, updating, etc. I have contacted the service department and so far they have not been able to do anything. Sometimes I have no other choice than turn it off like forcing a PC to restart after freezing.
I bought 40'' Samsung Smart TV from Costco with a manufacturer discount coupon. The assembly was easy to do and went well. The manual is poorly designed. I wish it was more descriptive. It took me some time to configure WiFi. However, after couple of trials I was able to get it done. Sound is great, picture quality is excellent. Little disappointed with remote as it is not very responsive at some Angles. Initially going to SmartHub was easy. However, after 2-3 weeks, the SmartHub became slow, it takes almost 30-35 seconds to open SmartHub. I am going to call to Samsung Customer Center for feedback if I am missing any upgrade for SmartHub. Overall, this TV is a great buy and I would recommend it to anyone who is beginning with LED Smart TV.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: slow smarthub, poorly designed manual, remote
