SMART has a very big star mark in this model. Youtube is not compatible. Even playing from browser stops the videos. Pairing is not possible. Making fools of people with SMART and built-in WiFi.
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this model due to the Smart TV option. I am disabled and wanted a functional model I could get on the internet with. And watch HD programs on. I have been able to download, watch series/movies, and log into Facebook. I have not been able to figure out how to do alot of things it is capable of. The documentation is not comprehensive the way I would prefer. Overall I love this TV! :)
I bought this in February.I have always loved Samsung product, they always seem to work great. I was really excited that I would have to use a bunch of devices to get on Hulu and Amazon prime. When we first got it it worked great but over the past few months that we have had it we have noticed issues with it. Alot of time it takes forever for the SmartHub to load and we have to keep restarting the TV in order for it to finally come up. If you try to exit the SmartHub to whole TV freezes up so once again we have to reset the TV. Now we are starting to have problems adjusting the volume. If you try to turn the volume up or down sometimes it won't work so guess what yet again we have to restart the TV. We end up having to restart the TV about 6 times before we have watch a show which gets really frustrating. I suggest that you do a lot or research before you buy the product and who knows maybe we just got the one bad TV out of the bunch.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have to say that we are disappointed with this product and had we known how "un-smart" this TV was, we would have returned it long before the return policy expired. The picture and sound are good. However, we bought it for the smart features and watching Netflix. Since we bought it, we have had nothing but problems trying to watch Netflix or use other apps. The method of using the tv tuner to try and navigate around on the screen is frustrating and needs redesign. We tried a wireless keyboard, but we still had to use the tv tuner to jump from one section to another, a total waste of money. I should have bought a regular HDTV. Lastly, is the hassle of getting interrupted with constant upgrades that don't always work. We are now unable to use Netflix as it has been upgraded, but we can't load up the new upgrade due to a few technical issues warranting a few calls to Samsung again. This was not a good first time experience with a supposed smart tv. This TV, not so smart.
