Not for people with bad backs.

The front loader without the storage drawer below is not for people with bad backs. It is too low and had a problem with the automatic door locking mechanism.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Features

I have had this dryer for about 9 months now and love it. There are features that I thought I would never use, but once I got used to them I would miss them a lot. The steam feature is such a time saver. If you are not right on top of getting your clothes out of the dryer, just use the steam setting and your clothes come out wrinkle free. I never thought I would need the timer to set the dryer to come on, but turns out it is the perfect feature if you have to go somewhere. Set it to start before you come home, so the clothes are nearly done when you get home, and you have saved and hour waiting for the load to dry and no wrinkled clothes laying in the dryer. I do a lot of my clothing on the same setting, which is not a standard setting, so another great feature is the custom "my cycle". Besides all of the time saving features, my electric bills have gone down quite a bit since we got this dryer. Since we haven't made any other major changes, I have to attribute the lower electric bills to the dryer.

Easy to use!

We bought the washer 6 months ago and have been very happy with it. The settings are easy to use. We included the pedestal in our purchase and that has been good for our backs. The whites come out very clean. Also, we can wash zippered clothes without ruining the zippers which was the case with the agitator washer we had. It runs a bit loud but it is in the basement so that is not a problem.

Works fine. The musical features to let you know when the cycle is complete is a nice touch - sure beats the buzzer.
