I guess it works if it fits your fridge

My filter cover is slanted and just contains the charcoal. Every time I try to buy replacements I get taken to this page WHICH DOES NOT FIT. Every time I try to type in my Model and Serial Number LG keeps congratulating me that I don't need the new style.
Dumbest experience of my life trying to maintain an appliance.

It has some smart tricks in its sleeve and works silent and fast cooling.

No filter replacement

Does not fit model LCFC26XSS as stated. Worse LG does not appear to have a filter that fits.

Wrong part, wrong holder, wrong reaction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know about the product because it doesn't fit the holder. Apparently LG had several refrigerator versions that used a different holder, but didn't tell the consumers or their parts suppliers that things had changed. They still haven't. They can figure out who has them and proactively reach out, but they are stuck in reactive mode and making a lot of people either mad or befuddled and using the wrong filter and/or holder. Very bad management. I'm getting the right one sent to me, but how many aren't?
