This was the filter LG told me I needed based on my fridge, ended up subscribing to the wrong filter, couldn’t return it even though I attempted on delivery day. Horrible experience

Thus far, I have been unable to remove the old filter, to be able to replace it. Other younger athletic males have also been unable to remove the older filters.

Hey there, Jerry; we want to help bring in some extra muscle. We'd need to know the model of your unit so that we can guide you through how it's done. The air filter should be located at the back of the unit depending on the model. You would screw the plate counterclockwise and gently pull. To replace press and turn back clockwise to close after popping out and replacing the air filter.
