[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that LG's systems make integrating their appliances with our 'smart home' simple, efficient and valuable. Changing this air filter is very easy. I bought this air filter to have it on hand, whenever I think it's time to change it out. But, I don't think that I will do it at the 6 month mark. It's only my wife and I, in this household. We take very good care of all appliances and keep the fridge and it's contents clean and well maintained. I think we'll be changing the filters annually.

However, releasing the cover for the air filter involved a massive wrestling match. Once the cover was off, the filter went in easily, but that cover is a menace.
