The TV while working was great. It's in my office and I travel a lot so it is a very low use situation (probably less than 100 hours) and today, 1 year and 1 month after I purchased it (and consequently 1 month after the warranty expired) it began to reboot itself repeatedly. It now turns on and off about 10 times a minute so you get a quick flash of the input and the boot sound. In searching the internet this seems to be a very common problem.
Not the best picture out there but for the price you can't beat it.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: picture is dark
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far, the television works well and it was certainly a good deal. It is not my primary television, so I don't need a lot of features. The one it's missing, however, is an audio out. Not a problem if I'm watching a dvd/bluray movie or something else using that device, but when watching television, I'm stuck with the built-in speakers in the set.
This TV will please the most picky shopper out there, it is just that good. It is what you expect from Samsung, great quality for a great price. Samsung, in my opinion, is slowly taking over the technology market with their great features, engineering, and product offerings. If I were a competitor of Samsung, I would be very worried.
I am happy with the TV. It is good for the money spent. However, I am so very disappointed that it did not have an audio out or at least a headphone jack. After I realized the mistake I made on this TV, I looked at another competing similarly priced TV and it at least had a headphone jack. This TV replaced an old tube type TV, and I am able to pull in 12 channels over the air as opposed to 5.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, pull in more air channels
Cons: Did not meet expectations, does not have audio out, no headphone jack
