Disappointing sound quality

Maybe I got a 'lemon'. I bought this TV after reading positive reviews on several sites. I agree that the picture is excellent with good color. The set up is easy, both putting it together and programming it. The remote is simple to use. All good. But I have tried every change in settings to make the sound better. Nothing improved the sound. Great picture...lousy sound....not a great buy?
I knew that this was not a top of line TV. I did expect a better picture quality though (Samsung). I can honestly say this has the worst picture viewing experience I have ever had. A 13 inch tube TV has a better picture quality. It is very cool and does not provide vivid colors at all. The viewing experience is poor even in High Definition. All colors are washed out, regardless of setting. I expected a picture quality that should jump out at you with the LED backlight, even more so with a 32 inch smaller display. I was wrong on this one.
The response isn't great and jittery, in all modes.
HDMI (2) and Component/composite (1) inputs are very limited. USB (1) All inputs, are on the rear, at least one HDMI and component input should be on the side of any new TV. This TV does not have any audio outputs as well. I knew that this was very limited at the beginning.
I am an electronic engineer, with expertise in TV reception Large/Small satellite antenna systems and I can assure you I have tried every setting possible. I have tried every type of input device, HD receiver, Blue ray DVD, Digital/HD cable, Up-converting DVD, PS3, tablet, Laptop (gaming system) and Netflix/Utube HD adapter to check quality. The TV's just don't really have any type of Realistic color or Bright Display, regardless of what is used.
I had bought three of these TV's for my daughters bedrooms and will most likely return them. This rating is based on three exact models, not just one. All three are representative of the above problems.
I'm glad I held off buying the a larger Samsung, for the living-room..
I gave it a two, not sure about that.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, fair picture not great with blue ray, works well with a number of different type devices
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, very poor response to movement, to much jitter even with motion flow, very poor color washed out
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This television offers an exceptional value. It is a beautiful and vibrant Samsumg LED. It has no audio output to connect to a stereo or soundbar, and at 32" and 720p it may not be right for your living room, but it is the perfect size and value for your bedroom.
I must say, I really like my 32 in Samsung television, I like everything about it; features and all. I will continue to purchase more Samsung products. They have yet to fail me. I love how my television is programmed to come on and shut off at a certain time, Monday through Friday. I love it! That's just one of the many features I enjoy.
